Book set in war, love story
What makes it great?:
Sad, made me weep, just a brilliantly written story of two people that could have been together for 40 years and missed out over a misunderstanding.
Who is it for?:
Pleasure
That book is a weepy and no mistake. Not sure I would enjoy it but I know family members of mine who have read it and loved it. I prefer a good novel by Sidney Sheldon.
My wife has read it and cried her eyes out afterwards. Not sure I enjoy books that make me cry. Would rather be feeling good after a decent read not depressed! That's just a personal view.
