IDEAS are great. Awakening the innovation, insight and imaginations of people are keys to success. However, ideas schemes must avoid simply pointing fingers at other teams, or areas of a company. And they are worthless unless they happen. Make sure that you have the abilities to make them real, fast.
Ideas for different things pop into my head all the time, especially at this time of year when resolutions and new beginnings are at the forefront of my mind. I have an idea, and just hope it works if I take it on.
You have to channel the ideas in the right way and towards the right people to get them noticed. I suppose I have come out with three or four major ones in my time and they have served me well. The key is having people around you that allow you to and encourage those thoughts that may lead to good business decisions. Those decisions are worth their weight in gold for me now. And I was encouraged to coem up with the ideas in the first place and I am thankful for that. Communiaction is the most important part of all business.
