Memories, extract from The Leader Board
OUR memories improve the moment we believe they have improved. It's as simple as that. Most people who want to improve their memories say things like, 'I wish I had a good memory.'
Well, you have. You already have the capacity, the ability and the means. You already have an outstanding memory – right now – and to prove this, decide to remember something.
1. Decide that next time you meet someone new, you will remember their face, their name and one other important fact about them.
2. Decide that next time you go shopping, you will remember your shopping list without needing to refer to it. Start with a few items (while keeping your list in your pocket) and within a few weeks you will remember your entire shopping list.
So, right now, decide you have a perfect memory. Decide it, believe it, know it.

Hopefully, this ties in with the thread below about imaginations. The mind is a wonderful thing.
Memories are amazing things and I will endeavour to try and see whether I can remember my shopping list rather than write it down. There are also a number of times in recent years where people have been introduced and they just haven't stuck in my memory. Their name slip my mind immediately. I will try harder to make sure this doesn't happen. And make a conscious effort to learn something about new people and remember it.
