Sport called off
There has been an enormous amount of matches in various sports called off because of the bad weather and it begs the question, why can't Premier League clubs spend more money on their pitches and the safety of their fans. They are quite happy to spend big on players, like £30m or something ridiculous and yet fundamentals such as getting a match played seems to be low n the priority lists. Why?
Of course traveeling is an issue but there seems to be some really early decisions when they didn't need to make them at that time.

Travelling is no doubt the main issue not just an issue. Care has to be taken to ensure all fans can get to the grounds safely. And that is the main consideration, not just the pitch being playable.
It puzzles me how people question why events are off when the conditions of roads and paths is so bad. Take a look out of the window!
Sport should go ahead when millions of pounds have been spent on it. Portsmouth had a game called off today in the Premier League. It's ridiculous that a club like that can't get a game on even though their debts are huge thanks to the exorbitant wages they have been paying. It's scandalous for the fans.
