I am in a job that I don't particularly like and I have a dilemma. do i move on and let my boss know that that is what i want to do or should I resist the temptation to move bearing in mind the climate is not good out there?
Do you enjoy your job? Are you skilled at other things? There are plenty of variables here. It really depends on what you are good at and whether you will be able to move carerr, or just job in the same line of work.
As Chris says, a lot depends on your circumstances. Perhaps it is just a clash of personalites, in which case, you may just be jumping out of one frying pan into a deeper one. Be careful what you do in this difficult climate. Jobs aren't that easy to come by.
