Ebenezer Scrooge and The Spirit of Christmas Farce 3M/1F
If you like 'A Christmas Carol' you'll love this! Jacob Marley is not as dead as he would appear, and Scrooge is a lot nicer than he should be. And all in all, Charles is not at all happy with how his characters are taking control of their own lives…
This play, highly acclaimed in a Bristol Music and Arts festival, has been made into a radio play for London Hospital Radio.
Also available as a radio play (free for hospital radio)
Is Life Just A Soap Opera? 4M/F
Four actors are on stage, waiting for their play to arrive. But it doesn't, why? Has their playwright forgotten, them? or have all original plays been written already?
This “serious comedy” is a real challenge for any drama group. Written in the Becket tradition (now that’s humility), and perfect as a workshop piece.
Dunnit - Who? Comedy 2M/4F
A traditional whodunit, in reverse. The play starts with the jury about to deliver the Guilty or Not Guilty verdict, and then time travels backwards to the very beginning of events, so we can see for ourselves whether or not the verdict is correct. So the murder comes at the end, and here’s the twist – right at the start the verdict is decided by the audience voting, who are the Jury.
Highly acclaimed in script adjudication, this play has been performed in an earlier version in Birmingham, where the adjudicator absolutely hated it.
