ARE you a Mr Motivator? Because as a leader, you need to be.
Getting people to move in the direction you want them to go is a context which can be provided by a company’s culture.
Individual managers still play a part, though. So, today, understand the process of motivation, the different types, the basic concepts, the implications and the different approaches. Also appreciate the roles of financial and non-financial motivators.
Make goals specific, challenging, reachable, fair and ensure people feel pride and satisfaction from the experience of achieving their target. Then watch your company fly.
