THE reason our imaginations are so powerful is because our minds can’t tell the difference between something that happens in reality and something we imagine with emotional intensity.
So, if you doubt the power of our imaginations, go and see a horror film this week. You know the story is not real and that they are actors wearing masks. So why are you clinging on to the person next to you?!
(Extract from The Naked Leader)
So true, I sometimes don’t to bother doing something because I’ve imagined so strongly what its like I feel like I’ve already done it, so don’t want to waste my time!
often woken from an awful dream and the feeling lasts all day and you keep having to remind yourself there’s nothing actually bad happened to you. that must be the power of the mind.
I get that in bed, wake up with a start, thinking oh no, and then it all seems okay because you know it’s a dream. Or is it?
The dreams I have I just don’t want to wake up!
They are very vivid and I sometimes feel that they actually happened when I know it was a dream.
Again, another example of a mind-worker.
We should all have a vision and try and achieve it.
