Score Your Goals In The Right Order

MOST of us have goals. Scoring them at random is not normally the best practice though.

Try and find a natural progression in the order that you put them in. If you have a big challenge, try and break it up into smaller goals and chip away at the greater target.

Any planning you do must start in the mind and the vision you have set out for yourself. Visualise it every step of the way. Remember that old saying, ‘fail to plan and you plan to fail’.

  • I love to challenge myself with goals and I agree they have to be in the right order.
Planning is the only thing to do as you can’t really achieve much off the cuff.
I’m reading the book about Nick Leeson, Rogue Trader, and it’s great. One of the things that comes across about trading on the floor in shares is that there is not much planning.
It’s all seat-of-the-pants stuff. It’s therefore not surprising that a lot of money was lost. Cracking read though.

  • Goals and setting them is the key to giving yourself a life that’s full of purpose.
Otherwise, what’s the point? I’m all for a challenge rather than an easy life.
