Thought For The Week

AS people, we don’t like change – yet we love to change other people. People will only ever do something to the best of their ability for one reason, and one reason alone. It is because they want to. It is time to move beyond ‘change programmes’ to ‘choice programmes.’

  • Choice over change. The debate rages on!
I agree that choice is preferable and that people will only do what they want.
The more incentives you give the better they will work.

  • Change pr grammes are outdated, I agree with David.
people make their own choices these days and no amount of telling someone what to do can help.

  • I don’t think anyone can ever change the change programmes that are going on.
We might choose to want to do something different but companies these days aren’t really interested in what the employees would like to do.
they make the rules and the others have to follow.
So getting away from that mentality is the real challenge.

  • I prefer choice. Let the people in your firm choose too. They will respect you and you will get more out of them if you let them have their say.
